Jewelry Care
A little care helps keep your jewelry looking its best. Check each product description for its specific materials and finish.
Will gold plating wear off?
Gold plating can gradually wear with friction and use. How long it lasts varies with the piece, frequency of wear, and exposure to moisture and products. No fixed lifespan is promised.
Can I wear my jewelry in water?
For best care, remove jewelry before swimming, showering, washing hands, or doing dishes. Avoid prolonged moisture, chlorine, and salt water. If your jewelry gets wet, gently dry it with a soft cloth.
How do I clean it?
Gently wipe with a soft, nonabrasive cloth after wearing. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive polishing cloths, and ultrasonic cleaners on plated pieces. Let jewelry dry fully before storing.
How should I store it?
Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box in a dry place to reduce scratches and moisture exposure. Put jewelry on after applying perfume, lotion, or other personal-care products.
What does tarnish resistant mean?
Tarnish resistant does not mean tarnish-proof or guarantee a permanent finish. Discoloration may still occur over time, and resistance to tarnish does not mean gold plating cannot wear away.
